Interracial Relationships

Interracial and intercultural relationships may in themselves have innate complexities as both sides of the relationship must deal with merging cultures to create a new, individual family culture. At the same time, interracial/cultural couples must deal with outside social stigmas. Biological children of an interracial couple, and especially adopted children that are of a different race as their adoptive parents, often need special ways of feeling that they belong even if the child has not explicitly mentioned a feeling of difference.
